Fr. Mark Mossa, S.J.

Fr. Mark Mossa, S.J. has spent most of his ministry career—as a Jesuit, and before—in ministry with youth and young adults.  Most recently, he served as Director of Campus Ministry at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.  In addition to his priestly ministry, he also moonlights as a teacher, writer, and pop culture aficionado.  He enjoys conversation about everything from theology, philosophy and history to sports and Stranger Things.  He is as passionate about finding God in all things, as he is about helping others to let God find them in their everyday life.  Having spent most of his life in the northeast and southern United States, he is excited about the new challenges and opportunities of life and ministry in the upper Midwest, Michigan football and making a home for himself, and the Catholic students at St. Mary.

Lanette Mele

Lanette Mele joined the St. Mary’s staff in July of 2001 in the role of Office Manager.  Her organization skills and ability to see the big picture are what helps to keep things running smoothly.  She recently added the role of Staff Assistant for Liturgy and is enjoying new challenges in that role.  She and her husband, Tony, live in Whitmore Lake and love spending their free time with their extended families.

Carol Konczal

Carol Konczal joined SMSP in January 2007. A self proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, her role as administrative assistant/receptionist is a great position for her because there’s never a dull moment! A native Michigander and cradle Catholic, Carol left both for several years and decided to “come back home” after exploring new things. She and her husband Jeff have two adult children.

Alicia Frenette

Alicia Frenette joined SMSP in the summer of 2011.  She currently serves as the controller and director of human resources, while also working collaboratively with Gary Pearce to maintain our facilities in Ann Arbor.  Alicia is originally from Kalamazoo and moved to Ann Arbor in 1995 to start her family.  Alicia brings a strong accounting and management background to SMSP.  In her free time, Alicia enjoys gardening and swimming.

Susan Maulbetsch

Susan Maulbetsch’s warm personality and passion for hospitality truly welcome our parishioners at SMSP. In her role, Susan organizes and executes event menus, designs welcome banners, and has grown our Sunday Mass and semester welcome teams. Often, she is a welcoming presence herself right at our church doors. Susan lives in South Lyon with her two adult daughters.

Brittany Tobias

Brittany Tobias joined SMSP in September 2014 and enjoys living in Burns Park and exploring Ann Arbor. Brittany and her husband Ryan relocated to Ann Arbor from Chicago and welcomed their first child, Jack, in November 2017. They also enjoy taking their goldendoodle, Ruby, on long walks.

Amy Ketner

Amy is grateful for the opportunity to return to her St. Mary’s family.  Born and raised in the Flint area, Amy first moved to Ann Arbor to study sociology at UM (’13). As an undergraduate, she found a home here at St. Mary.  After graduation, Amy volunteered for two years in Santiago, Chile through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Upon her return to the U.S., she began to work at St. Mary as a Campus Ministry Associate. Now she feels incredibly blessed to be able to accompany St. Mary’s beautiful Hispanic/Latino community.
