We are a diverse community of Graduate Students and Young Professionals who gather regularly for prayer, faith exploration, and community building. We host two primary events each month: our monthly Mass & Dinner and Spiritual Directions. Throughout the year, we also offer special opportunities for retreats, service, and social gatherings. All graduate students and young professionals are welcome. Check out the details below:
Monthly Mass & Dinner
Each month we host a Monday mass & dinner right at St. Mary. Join us to worship, connect, and enjoy a delicious dinner with our grad/yp community. We begin with mass at 7:00 PM followed by dinner in Donnelly Hall.
Dates for 2019 – 2020 Academic Year: Mondays Sep 9, Oct 7, Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 13, Feb 10, Mar 9, Apr 6, and May 4.
Spiritual Directions events take place monthly and combine time for socializing and networking with varying opportunities for prayer, enjoying a speaker of interest, or faith-based discussions. We begin at 7:00 pm at SMSP with hors d’oeuvres and snacks provided.

Grad Student & Young Professional Winter Retreat February 1-2, 2020
BEING FULLY ALIVE
All graduate students and young professionals are invited to join us for our Winter 2020 overnight retreat. This year’s retreat will be led by Fr. Alan Zobler, OSFS, with the theme “Being Fully Alive.” The theme is inspired by the famous words of St. Irenaeus: “The glory of God is man fully alive.”
As daughters and sons of our merciful and loving God, each one of us is called to be fully alive as followers of Christ. Maturing as a disciple requires times of reflection, conversation, and prayer to honestly take a spiritual inventory of our own faith journeys. This winter retreat will afford participants the opportunity to discern ways of becoming more intentional as disciples of Christ so as to become more fully alive for God!
The retreat includes opportunities for prayer, reflection, silence, Reconciliation, faith-sharing and building community, all on the beautiful grounds of the Weber Retreat Center.
Date: Saturday, February 1 – Sunday, February 2
Location: Weber Retreat Center (Adrian, MI)
Transportation: We will arrange carpools leaving from St. Mary’s at 9:00am on Saturday and returning around 1:00pm on Sunday.
Cost: $50.00 (double room), $70.00 (single room); Financial assistance available.

The retreat cost has been subsidized by the parish and includes Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast, overnight accommodations and reflection materials.
Busy Person Retreat Fall 2019 & Lent 2020
If you are someone looking to start a daily habit of prayer, to dive deeper into an already active prayer life, or simply to grow in your relationship with God – the Busy Person Retreat (BPR) is for you. With this retreat, retreatants commit to 15 minutes of individual daily prayer and 30-45 minutes of conversation each week with a spiritual companion.
The campus ministry team will use the preferences you indicate on your registration form to prayerfully match you with a spiritual companion who best meets your needs and desires.
Food Gatherers Community Kitchen
The mission of Food Gatherers Community Kitchen is to engage and nourish our entire community. The Community Kitchen is located in the Robert J. Delonis Center (which is also home to the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County) at 312 W. Huron Street in Ann Arbor. The Community Kitchen serves lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and a mid-afternoon meal on Saturday and Sunday. Since its opening in 2003, Food Gatherers staff and volunteers have served more than one million meals to our neighbors in need!
