Learn, pray, and advocate for justice at the largest annual Catholic social justice gathering in the United States
Ignatian Family Teach-In Introduction
The Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice (IFTJ) is an opportunity for members of the Ignatian family (Jesuit institutions and larger church) to be empowered, re-energized, inspired, challenged, and supported by a community that sees faith and justice integrally linked.
The teach-in is 3 days and includes speakers, breakout sessions, prayer, Mass, and more! On the 3rd day, groups head out to Capitol Hill and meet with their state representatives to lobby about key social justice issues.
Each year, St. Mary takes a groups of undergraduate students to IFTJ to be empowered by community, to learn how to put our faith to action, and to be challenged as followers of Christ.
IFTJ 2019 Dates: November 16th – 18th
