St. Mary Student Parish (SMSP), located in Ann Arbor, MI, is a diocesan parish staffed by Jesuits serving the faculty, staff, and students of the University of Michigan, as well as resident parishioners. SMSP hosts an average of 2,000 people at six Sunday masses (one in Spanish) and offers spiritual formation programs for undergraduates, graduate students, young professionals, and our resident parishioners. Sacramental preparation and formation is provided through programs for RCIA, Confirmation, and First Communion.

- STUDENT OFFICE ASSISTANT-We are seeking two students to work in our busy parish office. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, answering phones, assisting campus ministers with general office work, creating simple Excel spreadsheets, flyers, brochures, prepare certificates and record sacraments in church records. Must be able to prioritize as well as pay close attention to detail and be flexible. Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel are desired. Spanish speaking helpful. 6 – 8 per week during the summer, evenings and weekends. 8 – 10 hours per week in the fall. - PART-TIME FACILITIES AND CUSTODIAL ASSISTANT(S)-Assist Building Manager and Custodian with simple indoor and outdoor maintenance and custodial tasks, including helping with external grounds work and snow removal as needed. Assist with inventorying, cleaning, organizing and labeling workshop and garage areas. Responsible for setting up tables, chairs and other small furniture items for parish activities, including breakdown and clean up after events. Must be comfortable with following directions and established cleaning and safety procedures and protocol. Basic computer skills required, including data entry in spreadsheets and email. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and comfortable working on ladders. Up to 20 hours per week, including potential for some weekends or evenings.
