Spend Earth Day – April 22 – volunteering at University Church Garden in Toledo! University Church Garden grows food with the community to help tackle the issue of food insecurity in Northwest Ohio, and provides education for the community in how to sustain their own organic, healthy sources of food.

We will gather at SMSP at 8:30 AM for a continental breakfast and prayer, then drive to the Garden where we will work from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. After work, we’ll go for lunch nearby (at volunteers’ personal expense) and return to Ann Arbor by 4:30 PM.

Depending on weather, we’ll work in either indoor or outdoor gardens, so plan to get dirty!

Please sign up by Tuesday, April 18th.

Busy Person Retreat Lent 2017
Lent is a great time of the year to dedicate more of our lives to reflection and prayer.  If you are someone looking to start a daily habit of prayer, to dive deeper into an already active prayer life, or simply to grow in your relationship with God – the Busy Person Retreat (BPR) is for you.  With this retreat, retreatants commit to 15 minutes of individual daily prayer and 30-45 minutes of conversation each week with a spiritual companion.

BPR runs the length of the Lenten season – beginning on Feb 23rd with the opening dinner and concluding on April 18th with the closing banquet.

The campus ministry team will use the preferences you indicate on your registration form to prayerfully match you with a spiritual companion who best meets your needs and desires.  Click the following link to learn more about spiritual companionship (often called spiritual direction):
