"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that you may have life, and have it abundantly. " —John 10:10

Vocations

Are you considering the possibility of serving the Church as a priest, as a sister, or as a brother?  Clearly college years are filled with the question: “What should I do with my life?”   Perhaps God is asking you to consider service in religious life or priesthood, but you are just not sure.

Consider being a part of a prayer/discussion group with other men or with other women who have similar questions.  Each group will meet on a regular basis (monthly) for prayer and discussion about religious / priestly life, and how to discern God’s call..  Men should contact for details as to meeting time and location.  Women should contact .

You may simply just want to sit down with someone and sort out some questions about your life’s directions and choices you have – for that feel free to contact any SMSP Staff member to set up a time to talk.As you continue on your journey of faith, you may find yourself considering a life of dedicated service to the Church and to the world. St. Mary Student Parish provides resources to support you in that process. There are a number of staff members who provide Spiritual Direction and counseling. Please contact any member of our pastoral staff if you desire to pursue this interest.

If you would like to listen to any of our priests or sisters recount their recognizing God's call in their life, you can hear them in their own words by clicking on their picture below.
