"You have been told, what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God." —Micah 6:8
Small Church Communities (SCCs) provide the opportunity for men and women of all ages to meet weekly to read and discuss the upcoming Sunday’s readings. The mission of Small Church Community is to provide time each week where members commit to read, pray and grapple with the Word, reflect on God’s role in our lives and grow in faith and fellowship.
NEW -- Lenten Opportunities
New groups are being formed for Lent! Lent is a time to change one’s heart. That is not an easy thing to do. In a small community we see how Jesus, in the midst of activity, always took time for silence and prayer, and we realize how important it is for us to do the same. Why not take some time this Lent for quiet, prayer and sharing in a small community? Sign up for a day and time of the week that works for you. There are nearly 20 options to choose from! The change you experience will be well worth the time.
Click here to sign up now or pick up a sign-up form in the parish office.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Small Church Communities, contact SCC coordinator Kelly Dunlop.
