Delonis Community Kitchen
St. Mary parishioners help to make and serve the evening meal at the Delonis Shelter on the 1st and 5th Fridays of each month. There are two shifts: 3-5 PM cook/setup and 5-7:15 PM serve/cleanup. Volunteers 12 years old and up can serve with an adult.
Mercy House Sunday Meals
St. Mary parishioners continue their ministry to the homeless by cooking quarterly for the Sunday night community meals at Mercy House Stone School. Volunteers are needed to contribute to the meal, cook, and deliver the meals for up to 60 individuals from the homeless community. For more information or to volunteer, contact Erin Telemaco.
IHN/Alpha House for homeless Families
St. Mary’s provides supplies, meals and volunteers for a full week twice per year at the IHN/Alpha House Shelter for families. We generally serve one week in the Fall and one in the Winter/early Spring. Volunteers are needed to make meals, play with the children and stay overnight. For more information, contact Nancy Herlocher.
