"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that you may have life, and have it abundantly. " —John 10:10
Everyone faces the question of how to live life fully. Those who have encountered God along their way ask the deeper question - Where does my life and God's love intersect? Are there two paths, one path with two lanes or one beautifully blended reality?
As children it is the exploration of life that consumes us. From the first time we open our eyes we are taking in sights, sounds, smells and perceptions of what life is all about. If one is fortunate the initial experience of a loving God is part of this equation.
Childhood encounters continue to shape our knowledge and notion of what makes life worthwhile and how the wonder of God fits into this developing picture.
After high school we make significant decisions - to further our formal education or enter directly into the world of work. For most of you reading this page, education has been a driving force. Now is a time for intellectual and spiritual growth. It is up to you to make decisions that begin the process of consciously blending all the aspects of your life.
St. Mary Student Parish offers you multiple opportunities to learn more about your faith - scripture, liturgy, discussions about Church teachings, moral values and social justice. It is also a time to deepen your spiritual life through prayer, community, meditation, sharing, music and retreats. How do all these facets of life and faith help us to become whole persons?
Make good use of this web site to explore how St. Mary Student Parish can be your home base to compliment and complete your academic achievements. Using the opportunities offered here will begin a life-long process of growth in wisdom and knowledge!
