"For surely I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me: if you seek me with all your heart" —Jeremiah 29: 11-13
The Fr. Gabriel Richard Lectures
Fr. Gabriel Richard was one of the co-founders of the University of Michigan as well as pioneer priest, educator and statesman. The Fr. Gabriel Richard Lectures, named for him, are designed to help students and community members enrich their understanding of the Catholic faith. Distinguished speakers share their insights on prayer, moral life, social justice and contemporary theological issues.
Some of the lectures also have been made available in mp3 format on our web site. If you want to listen by either streaming the lecture or downloading the file, please check out our podcasts page.
